The recent terrorist attack that occured on Chistmas day and that could have claimed many lives has prompted President Obama to take a break from his Hawaii vacation and make a public statement.

From Hawaii Obama said, "We will not rest until we find all who were involved and hold them accountable."

He also urged his advisors to investigate how 23 year old Nigerian, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab could have gotten the explovie device on Northwest flight 253.

He also asked them to examine the current policies of the terrorist watch program as Abdulmutallab's name appeared on a watch list along with over 500,000 others.

He went on to say, "Those who would slaughter innocent men, women and children must know that the U.S. will do more than to simply strengthen our defenses."
